Synopsis:
Recent veterinary school graduate Dr. Andrew McDonald finds his first day of work at a rural Animal Clinic a lot more challenging then expected. Treating all sorts of pets - a ferret, two horses, a St Bernard, and a deer - are the easy part for Andrew compared to the trauma he has to endure to win the respect of the Clinic's legendary chief, the senior surgeon and the very pretty Dr. Emma Matthews. But the team finds a common ground in their love of animals and appreciation received from the families of these adorable pets.

“Animal Clinic” is a wonderful movie presented by “Animal Planet” and is definitely geared toward animal lovers. As the movie started, there seemed to be a moment where it could go either way on the hokey scale, but aside from a few “yeah right” scenes, this was a very entertaining movie. It had a nice mix of drama, comedy and a little light suspense to keep an audience captivated. It is a refreshing to find a gem in a time filled with unwatchable films, and Dove happily awards the Dove Family-Approved Seal to “Animal Clinic”. Very nicely done Animal Planet!!
